So Cal trip (Oct 11-15, 2007)
Congratulations Joey and Michelle!!!
We were so happy to attend the wedding of Juli's sister, Michelle, and her husband, Joey Starrs. They were married in the Los Angeles temple, and it was a wonderful sealing. After the wedding and pictures, we had a great reception at Maggiano's, one of our all-time favorite restaurants - wow was it delicious!!! Then we all headed to Palm Springs (Joey's hometown) for a fun reception. On the way back to the hotel in LA late that night, Rich got pulled over because a policeman thought he was drunk driving. I guess he was drifting to the left... After the finger sobriety test (Rich was hoping to walk the line), as well as the cops seeing 3 sleeping kids in the back, they decided he was sober and wished us a good night. Needless to say, Rich made sure he was in the middle of the lane the rest of the way home!
Grandma Cindy took all the girls to get their nails done before the wedding, and did all the granddaughters feel pampered!!!
Kaitlin and Nicole loved spending time with their Utah cousins, Ally and Mandy. They didn't need any time to catch up, they were best friends the second they got together for the weekend. They are so excited to move to Seattle to be closer to their cousins.
Nicki's favorite part of the trip was spending time with her Grandpa Dan. If we couldn't find Nicki, Grandpa Dan was the first person we looked for, and she was usually propped on his lap listening to a story or being carried around by him.

Of course we made it down to San Diego for one day to see Lou. Although he wasn't able to make it to the wedding to see everyone because of his health, I think everyone made it to San Diego to see him! He is certainly loved by all! Of course we also got one of the infamous Taylor meals - how we miss our days at UCLA when we would get those all the time... Have we mentioned how excited we are to be closer soon?
We were able to see our old friends the Hendrys during the trip. Since our time was limited, we made sure to do our catching up over meals at our favorite restaurants - Kabuki's and Damon & Pythios. If you're ever in LA, look those places up!!!

It seems like you guys had a good visit! I am glad you put a picture of Shellie. She was such a pretty bride! I feel bad Paul and I weren't able to find the Washington reception place after wandering around for a long long time! Yeah, I'd say Everett is a bit confusing and Google directions really stink! :(
You guys all looked soooooo beautiful! I really do believe Micah is the cutest little boy! I loved his little bowtie! Where did you find that?
what great pics - how fun to have a trip to LA. As for your drunk husband...make sure to let us know when you come into Seattle after you move here so that we stay off the roads! we're excited for you guys to move here. It's always great to see Grandpa Dan in something other than a white coat in the clinic. what beautiful girls!
