Christmas 2005

We were so excited to spend Christmas in Seattle! Especially after the freezing cold weather we experienced in Ohio during the month of December - it got down into the single digits, and that was before the wind chill factor! Here are some pictures of our fun trip to Seattle.

Lunches with grandparents and great-grandparents were great. Not much dim sum happening in Columbus, OH!!!



















































Uncle Ben gave us 4 tickets to the Sonics vs. Mavericks game. Although the Sonics lost, they acquired 2 new fans - Juli and Kaitlin. It especially helped that our seats were practically on the court! Thanks Uncle Ben!






















One of our great Christmas gifts was a gift certificate to the Space Needle. Since we didn't know the next time we would be in Seattle, we decided to use it right away. Needless to say, we were impressed with ourselves that we could eat $150 worth of food in one meal!



































We were also able to see one of my mission companions, Lance, his wife Kaitie, and son Darren.
They came and spent the night with us, and we were able to get caught up. Lance is finishing medical school in Portland, and then he will go on to a family practice residency. We're trying to convince them that they would love to practice in Seattle!


After a fun week and a half in Seattle being with family, our recent decision to return to Seattle after finishing up our orthodontics residency in 2008 has been solidified! We can't wait to be able to see family more than once or twice a year!!!
